It’s Spring!
Spring is in the air at Playland Nursery School! We had fun climbing “mountains” of fresh wood chips before they were spread at the camp’s high ropes course. “I’m on top of the world!”

Our 2 year old Teddy Bears love cars & trucks! They worked together to create their own automobiles for the classroom. We hope there’s not too much traffic!
Hello, Dentist!
February was Children’s Dental Health Month. We were lucky to have Carly, a dental hygienist, come to school to teach use how to take care of our teeth!
Jack Frost Breakfast
We had an amazingly fun Jack Frost Breakfast this past Saturday morning! Students and their dads (or dad stand-ins) came for breakfast and fun in the classrooms, hot chocolate by the fire pit, and walking and skating on the Playland pond. The beautiful weather contributed to a very special day at Playland!
It’s Foliage Season
The Playland Polar Bears took a nature walk to see the changing colors of the leaves around campus. Election Day
While grown-ups were voting in the local elections, the Playland Panda Bears learned about elections and choices themselves. Fire Trucks!
Playland Nursery School students enjoyed a visit from the Stamford Fire Department. We learned about fire safety and students got to go inside the firetruck. It was a great way to celebrate fire safety month!
Pumpkins & Gourds
The Polar Bear class (4 & 5 year olds) harvested the Playland pumpkin patch today! Each spring, the Polar Bears plant pumpkin and gourd seeds to be charted and harvested by the next years class.
