The Playland Polar Bears took a nature walk to see the changing colors of the leaves around campus. They looked at which trees are deciduous (trees that lose their leaves) and which ones are coniferous (trees that remain in tact all year). Oaks, Maples, Hickories, Evergreens, and even a Japanese Maple – there is a lot to see on our campus! The Polar Bears collected leaves and acorns for further studying.
