The Playland Nursery School is comprised of four separate classrooms. Each class has a head teacher and two or three assistant teachers.
A head teacher candidate is required to have
a college degree with a minimum of 36 college credits in child development and / or education.
Assistant teachers must have a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential or equivalent.
Potential teachers and assistants will be interviewed. Teachers are selected for their experience, love of children and their ability to enhance our program.. A Playland teacher must be nurturing, patient, enthusiastic, imaginative and must have an over abundance of positive energy.
